Hi and welcome
News
If you watch
Shipwrecked, on Channel Four Sundays at 12.30 pm, you can see how I coped with filming on a remote
tropical Island in the south pacific for ten weeks.
I have just
finished filming Baboon Woman in South Africa for Firecracker Films as a self shooting producer/
director. A 60 mins doc on extreme animal/ human interaction for C5 and Animal Planet.
I currently
have a short drama, Seams, which was shot on HDCAM, in post production. A dark tale of a woman and the inner working
of her mind.
Profile
As an
experienced director of photography my goal is to make visually and emotionally engaging films, so that the audience can fully
immerse themselves in the world of the story and characters.
I have considerable experience of shooting observational, format and presenter led
documentaries for BBC, ITV, Channel Four and Sky. Including the Bafta winning series
The Trust for Channel Four.
I have travelled extensively, visiting some of the most remote and hazardous
countries of the world e.g. China, Russia, Cameroon, Rwanda, Uganda, Irian Jaya, Mexico, Cook Islands - South Pacific.
I am experienced in using many different camera formats
including film, HDCAM, HDV, DSR 570, Z1, mini cams and the latest P2 card cameras.
I can light for both intimate interviews and larger
drama sets. When required I can record sound.
My camera and recent directing experience enable me to explore
the script and collaborate with the production team and contributors so that we can produce the most fully
realized experience for the audience.
